The dining room (right) is separated from the kitchen breakfast area by a 4-foot wide arched opening.
The picture to the right shows the dining room through this opening. The bay-style windows and wall at the end of the dining room overlook the wetlands conservation area. This is a great view while enjoying times with your dinner guests. The dining room will accommodate a very long dining table; for overflow space, the TV room is perfect. (Note: the chandelier has since to replaced with a slightly larger style and horizontal blinds have been installed on all windows.)
The wall separating the kitchen and dining room is eight inches thick to provide a better architectural appearance with the columns between the great room and TV room/den, along with the rounded (bullnose) corners.
The picture below shows a sunrise over the wetlands, as the sun rises over Highland Lakes the gated adult community to the southeast.
